"Sword Art Online Progressive" Manga Character Designs Previewed

Last October, Reki Kawahara rebooted the Sword Art Online light novel series with Progressive, which started with Kirito's adventures at the first and second floors of Aincrad, including a rewrite of two side stories. Kiseki Himura will be adapting this into a manga series, kicking off in the August issue of Dengeki G's Magazine, going on sale in June. There's a new preview, and fan reaction to its Kirito is far from positive.

Speaking of SAO, it is crossing over with the MMO Tale Weaver in June. The event will feature characters like Asuna, Silica and Lizbeth as NPCs, a themed dungeon, Aincrad arc and Fairy Dance arc inspired quests, dual wielding ability and the August launch of a new area created with input from author Reki Kawahara.
